The Role

Join us as we embark on an exciting journey here at JB Hi-Fi to uplift our Supply Chain environment through the use of innovative technology which will drive greater collaboration and unlock efficiencies across our Supply Chain, particularly in our last mile execution.  As part of our Supply Chain transformation, we have a number of exciting opportunities to join our team as we take the next step in our journey.

 

The Transport Control Tower Analyst is a newly created role within our supply chain function whose purpose is to assist in the daily operation of the Control Tower service, supporting all national and regional transport operations to achieve overall delivery network productivity, quality, and delivery times.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and maintain continuously the last-mile delivery network & systems
  • Ensure the proper implementation of Support Office Transport operating procedures and best practices
  • Review daily activity and objectives for all regional operations
  • Maintain robust systems governance including change registers, backlog management and general housekeeping
  • Monitor the COR parameters that are built into the TMS and flag any breaches and escalate to the relevant stakeholder as well as report in the Group Safety System
  • Report on KPIs – First Attempt delivery Rate (FADR), DOT, NPS and cost
  • Identify areas for improvement, quantifies opportunities for improvement or cost reduction and formulates optimisation recommendations

 

Please note: The Transport Control Tower Analyst role is a Monday to Friday role with an on-call requirement.

 

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Essential:

  • 2+ years of experience specifically within home delivery, logistics, transportation, warehousing, or related field
  • Experience with transport management systems
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strong computer literacy and exposure to general software packages (such as Microsoft Office Suite) and warehouse software (such as Oracle, SAP, Descartes), including transport management systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in retail and/or e-commerce environments
  • Experience in managing through significant change programs
