The Role

Join us as we embark on an exciting journey here at JB Hi-Fi to uplift our Supply Chain environment through the use of innovative technology which will drive greater collaboration and unlock efficiencies across our Supply Chain, particularly in our last mile execution.  As part of our Supply Chain transformation, we have a number of exciting opportunities to join our team as we take the next step in our journey.

 

The Logistics Analyst (Transport) is a newly created role within our supply chain function whose purpose is to assist in the daily operation of the Control Tower service, supporting all national and regional transport operations to achieve overall delivery network productivity, quality, and delivery times.

Your day-to-day will include, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and maintaining the last-mile delivery network & systems
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of Support Office Transport operating procedures and best practices
  • Reviewing daily activity and objectives for all regional operations
  • Maintaining robust systems governance including change registers, backlog management and general housekeeping
  • Monitoring the COR parameters that are built into the TMS and flag any breaches and escalate to the relevant stakeholder as well as report in the Group Safety System
  • Reporting on KPIs – First Attempt delivery Rate (FADR), DOT, NPS and cost
  • Identifying areas for improvement, quantifies opportunities for improvement or cost reduction and formulates optimisation recommendations

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2+ years of experience specifically within home delivery, logistics, transportation, warehousing, or related field
  • Experience with transport management systems (TMS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse software, such as Oracle, SAP, Descartes
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Professional experience in Business Analysis or Supply Chain Analysis experience (highly regarded)
  • Experience in retail and/or e-commerce environments (preferred)
  • Experience in managing through significant change programs (preferred)
