About the role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, supporting our iconic retail brands in JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys. This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising, phone screening, candidate shortlisting, coordinating interviews and managing offers and onboarding.
- Effectively utilise various recruitment tools, processes and systems to manage the recruitment process (proactive sourcing tools, ATS, job boards, reference check/background check tools)
- Build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates and business stakeholders to support in meeting the hiring needs of the business.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements throughout the recruitment cycle
- Contribute to the development of standardised and repeatable recruitment systems and tools to facilitate effective recruitment processes and sound decision making
- Work in close collaboration with the wider HR team, ensuring prompt communication of issues and outcomes impacting the broader HR team
About you
- 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment, human resources, customer service or similar roles
- Experience in a fast-paced industry such as the retail industry is highly regarded
- Experience recruiting for corporate (head office) roles is a bonus
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and customers and manage multiple work flows concurrently
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and familiarity with Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)
