About the role

As our Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role at JB Hi-Fi. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be the champion of our Salesforce ecosystem; optimising business processes, increasing user adoption and training our team. You will be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal functionality and data integrity. You will also provide training and support to end users, helping them maximise the platform's potential. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to refine and enhance our processes, driving continuous improvement, efficiency and scale across the organisation.

Our Salesforce Administrator will be a proactive individual, happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to decipher technical information into layman’s terms, and  champion the continual development of our Salesforce platform. You are comfortable with change management concepts as well as with communicating, prioritising and managing diverse priorities. Key Responsibilities:

This is a varied business facing role, with the following responsibilities:

Platform Management

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including user management, profiles, and permissions
  • Configure and customise the platform, including custom fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the platform by monitoring performance and resolving issues.
  • Proactive system maintenance including platform upgrades, release updates,

System Enhancements

  • Obtaining a detailed understanding of the organisations complex business processes and rules.
  • Identify opportunities for platform improvements
  • Assist in the design and rollout of new features, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Identify unused or underutilised platform features
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders

Data Excellence

  • Champion data integrity by implementing strong governance practices, regular audits, and deduplication.
  • Maintain high data quality by performing data imports, exports, deduplication, and regular system audits.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to understand business requirements and help with the delivery of scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers and third-party consultants for more complex customisations and integrations.

Training & Support

  • Provide and encourage knowledge transfer within the team
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users to ensure platform adoption and proficiency.
  • Act as the first point of contact for user inquiries and technical issues, escalating as needed.

Innovation & Optimisation

  • Identify enhancements to streamline operations and maximise return on investment.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry trends to recommend new solutions.

About you

We are looking for an intuitive problem-solver with a passion for all the amazing solutions Salesforce enables, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, specialising in Service Cloud and Field Service solutions.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator with additional certification as a Field Service Consultant.
  • Proficient in CRM Analytics for building insightful reports and dashboards, with a focus on driving user adoption and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and delivering platform enhancements with a proactive mindset.
  • Experience in change management, technical documentation, and implementing Salesforce configuration changes to optimise functionality.
