The Role

The Account Manager is responsible for identifying and driving new mid-market business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing clients to determine their existing and future business needs.
  • Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process and forming long-term business partnerships.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within Victoria and collaborate with sales team to ensure maximum growth.
  • Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e., face to face meetings, video meetings where face to face option is not a possibility, telephone calls and/or via email.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products, in line with customer needs and objectives.
  • Attending industry events, tradeshows, and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales.

 

About You

As an Account Manager you will be client focused, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to make effective decisions. You will also have:

  • Proven B2B sales and service background, with a strong focus on ICT and product sales
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and gross profit targets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, under challenging circumstances.
  • Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
