About The Role

We have an opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to join JB Hi-Fi's Commercial Sales division. This role is primarily responsible for identifying and driving new mid-market business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing clients to determine their business needs
  • Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process and forming long-term business partnerships
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
  • Identify and grow opportunities within Victoria and collaborate with sales team to ensure maximum growth
  • Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e., face to face meetings, video meetings where face to face option is not a possibility, telephone calls and/or via email

This role will suit an individual who is either experienced, has a sound knowledge of business development/ sales or an enthusiastic and driven professional who is starting out in their sales career and shows a keen appetite for learning and is willing to contribute to our success!

About You

As a professional who enjoys hard work, is energetic, action orientated with a bottom-line focus you will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment and always act with the customer in mind, gain trust to build long last relationships! Your flexible approach coupled with your understanding of business, practices, trends, strategy, and tactics as they pertain to the marketplace will hold you in good stead.

You will also possess the following:

  • The ability to effectively manage ongoing business in existing account allocations as well as secure new business
  • Proven business to business sales and service background, with a strong skillset/focus on ICT and product sales
  • A commitment to delivering innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to client’s business needs through your analytical and planning skills.
