About the Role

As the Marketing Events and Campaign Specialist you will assist the Group Marketing Manager (GMM) in the execution of marketing events and campaigns across JB Hi-Fi Solutions and The Good Guys Commercial programs to deliver business growth, market presence, and ultimately to have a positive impact on sales revenue.

Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Marketing and administrative support to the GMM, assisting in the strategy, planning and execution of events and associated tactical campaigns
  • Coordinate Marketing events and campaigns, including detailed project planning, timelines, production and agency management, and final execution 
  • Organise events and trade shows, including detailed event plan, supplier and vendor management, logistics, vendor partnerships and event execution and manage the event budget – investments, expenses, partner funding etc
  • Work with and manage external design and marketing agencies to build event and sales enablement collateral
  • Use Marketing Automation tools to build event eDMs, lead nurture journeys, and social media content 
  • Work with agencies/internal teams to create campaign databases, and upload campaign leads to Sales Force

About You

You are a driven, highly organised event coordinator who thrives in a fast paced environment where you will utilise your keen eye for detail, coupled with your ability to work to tight deadlines, within budget, and to produce quality work. You will also possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar Marketing & Events role, preferably in a B2B environment / Tech industry (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events, PR or other relevant discipline
  • Event and Project Management skills - including planning, briefing, management, execution, and reporting
  • Innovative, creative, and quick to learn
  • Understanding of marketing automation systems - Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Hootsuite and Asana desirable
