The Opportunity

Deliver accurate and efficient inbound and outbound activities within the Home Delivery Centre (HDC) to support HDC outcomes and deliver to the needs of the customer

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and efficient delivery centre activities, ensuring the right stock is received, picked and delivered to the right place at the right time, through:
    • accurate goods receipt from Suppliers
    • store replenishment
    • customer pick-up and delivery
    • records and invoice management
    • data integrity
    • cyclical stocktakes and adhoc cycle counts
  • Ensure accurate labelling and dispatch of Customer Deliveries to Home Delivery Carriers
  • Comply with compliance and policy requirements, with particular emphasis on site standards, safe work practices and incident reporting
  • Comply with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safe operating procedures as designed to maintain product integrity and workplace safety
  • Work collaboratively as part of the HDC team to deliver a positive experience for the customer
  • Achieve efficient storage utilization, warehouse picking and put away accuracy by effective use of Warehouse Management Systems and other enabling tools / resources
  • Monitor supplier chain of responsibility and escalate noncompliance in line with required standards
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge through available online platforms and active participation in other development opportunities
  • Other tasks deemed suitable based on knowledge and experience as required by HDC Operations Team Leader or HDC Manager

About you

A highly organised customer focused and results driven individual who looks to optimise work processes at every opportunity, you will possess excellent communication skills to be able to effectively collaborate with your internal and external stakeholders.  

Preferred Experience and Skills 

  • At least 3 years warehouse experience
  • Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Familiar with Kazan and Lean methodologies
  • MHE Licences (LF & LO)
