About the position

An opportunity now exists for experienced Client Support professionals to join JB Hi-Fi’s Insurance team in a full-time capacity, located in our Support Office at Southbank. Reporting to the Insurance Team Leader, this role is primarily responsible for supporting the Insurance division in its services to replace lost and/or stolen products on behalf of Insurance Companies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with Insurance Companies, insured customers and JB Hi-Fi stores
  • Validating and quoting consumer electrical products for insurance replacement
  • Inbound and outbound calls (no sales related calls)
  • Preparing orders
  • Managing ongoing caseloads
  • Meeting KPI’s and deadlines, in line with Insurance Company Service Level Agreements.

About you

We are looking for candidates that possess a combination of the below experience, skills and competencies:

  • A friendly, professional and calm phone manner
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency in time management and multi-tasking
  • A strong desire to be proactive
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics and white goods
    (not mandatory but highly advantageous)
